Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

AmpleCheck AI is operated by Amazeit Services Pty Ltd ("we", "our", "us"), trading as Zaz Studios. These Terms govern your use of the AmpleCheck AI mobile application and associated web services (the "Service"), including the Client Portal.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or a Client Portal project.

3. Description of Service

AmpleCheck AI provides AI-assisted tools for Australian building professionals and homeowners, including floor plan compliance checks against the National Construction Code (NCC), an AI chat assistant for building code questions, AI-generated floor plan redesign suggestions, 2D/3D floor plan rendering, site pre-inspection checklists, and a Client Portal for sharing project status and variations with clients.

4. AI-Generated Content Is Not Professional Advice

Site pre-inspection results are explicitly a pre-inspection review only and are not a substitute for a licensed building inspector or certifier.

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

• Paid plans are billed as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your subscription is managed entirely by Apple or Google — we do not process or store your payment details.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can cancel at any time via your device's subscription settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iOS; Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android). Cancelling stops future renewals — you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, with no partial refund for unused days.
• One-time credit packs (extra questions, uploads, or 3D generations) are non-renewing and non-refundable once delivered, except as required by law.

6. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of any information, floor plans, photos, or other content you upload or enter into the Service.
• You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to infringe any third-party rights, or to upload content you do not have the right to share.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its underlying AI models.

7. Client Portal & Digital Approvals

• If you use the Client Portal, you are responsible for the accuracy of the project and client information you enter, and for obtaining your client's consent to receive project communications through the shared portal link.
• Variation approval records created through the Client Portal may constitute legally binding agreements under the Electronic Transactions Act and equivalent state/territory legislation. If you are unsure of the legal effect of a digital approval, consult a lawyer before relying on it.
• You act as the data controller for your client's information; AmpleCheck AI acts as a data processor on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Third-Party Content

The Service references and displays excerpts from the National Construction Code (NCC), provided by the Australian Building Codes Board under the CC BY 4.0 licence. See our Privacy Policy for full attribution details. The official, current version of the NCC is always available at ncc.abcb.gov.au.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and original content (excluding third-party content described above and content you submit), is owned by Amazeit Services Pty Ltd and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload, but grant us a licence to process and store it solely to provide the Service to you.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be complete or correct.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amazeit Services Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from decisions made based on AI-generated content, including but not limited to construction defects, compliance failures, or financial loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in conduct that harms other users or the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete All Local Data, or by contacting us.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
